These are notable Pokemon in my collection.
RA is my oldest Pokemon. The "first met" displayed in the Home screenshot is incorrect, that is the date he was transferred. He was my starter in my first playthrough of Pokemon Sapphire in 2003, so he will have his 21st birthday in 2024 (they grow up so fast, don't they?). He is named RA (in all caps, which was the style at the time) after the ancient Egyptian god, as I had an ancient Egypt phase at that age.
TULIP was the first Pokemon I raised to level 100 by myself (not including duplicated rare candy level ups in RBY). He was my starter in my first playthrough of Pokemon LeafGreen in 2004. As with RA, the "first met" displayed in the Home screenshot is incorrect, that is the date he was transferred.
When I was 10 I lent my Rayquaza to a classmate so that he could easily defeat the Elite Four. He never returned my Rayquaza, which was a source of angst for some time. I kept the Chinchou that he traded me ever since.
I had a Persian in my team for my Violet playthrough. She is named after my parents' cat Meg. False Swipe and Thunder Wave make her an excellent catcher.
My wife plays Scarlet and I play Violet. We traded each other our Koraidon and Miraidon to complete our dexes.
OLIVER belonged to my friend Nick! We played a lot of SoulSilver together as teenagers.
I used to live in a collective with a cat named Lola. She was both friendly and covered in fleas in equal measure. This Meowth honours her.
In 2015 I finished my final year of university. I made my first attempt at a full national dex on FireRed, which I would play daily on the London Underground. AZURA and ROCKET DOG went through the Elite Four dozens of times to level up all the Pokemon.
ROCKET DOG defeated Lorelei so many times...
