My drawings of Lingua Ignota's final performances at Islington Assembly Hall in London, UK.

On the penultimate night Ms Hayter performed a piano medley of her Lingua Ignota catalogue. It rained a lot on both days; you can hear her on the live recording thanking the crowd for queueing outside in the rain to see her. It also rained so hard that my sketchbook suffered some damage, which you can see on some pages here.

At the start of the set there were some technical issues. Ms Hayter stood there; the whole hall was silent and watched her. She commanded a real presence! When it was fixed she just shrugged to the crowd and began her set. It didn't seem to phase her and she smashed the performance.
